Here is a recent notification I received from the State regarding ETV funding. Make sure you meet the deadlines:
The priority submission period for all applicants is January 1 to April 30, 2012. Applications submitted after April 30 will be
placed on a wait list and will be awarded on a funds available basis. The
2012-13 application cycle will close July 31, 2012 and no further
applications will be accepted after this date.
First
Time Applicants
Youth who are first time applicants to the program and are
not yet age 21 can use either of the following steps:
1.
Complete the online application at: http://www.independence.wa.gov/programs/etv.asp,
(preferred
method); or
2.
Submit a hard copy of the application to: ETV Program 1115
Washington St. SE Olympia, WA 98504;
·
Applications are available
for downloading online or
·
ETV program staff will,
on request, send applications by mail.
Renewal
Applicants
Renewal applications are also subject to the January 1 to April 30, 2012 deadline
for priority funding. In mid-December,
approximately 700 renewal applications were sent to eligible current and former
ETV students. Applications for renewing
students are also available online or can be requested from program staff. Please note in order to be eligible for an
ETV award a renewing student must meet his or her institution’s Satisfactory
Academic Progress (SAP) policy and ETV program requirements. Questions about whether individual students’
situations meet these standards may be addressed to program staff.
All students will receive confirmation that the program
received the application; and will include a request for any additional required
paperwork (grade transcripts, award letters, class schedules, etc.) that applicants
will need to submit before an ETV award offer can be made for the 2012-13
academic year.
